Brown's Elkader Chevrolet
Chevrolet help shaped around the way northeast Iowa drives.
Worth the drive. Easy to come back to.
Brown's Elkader Chevrolet helps people from Clayton County, northeast Iowa, and nearby southwest Wisconsin find and care for vehicles that fit real life. That may mean a Chevrolet truck for work, an SUV for family schedules, an efficient daily driver, or a used vehicle that simply makes sense. You can arrive with a specific model in mind or with a list of questions. We will listen, explain the choices clearly, and give you room to decide.

Choose a starting point
Start with the part you know. The Elkader team can help organize the rest.
Compare Chevrolet trucks, SUVs, performance vehicles, commercial models, and electric options.
Explore used cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs from Chevrolet and many other manufacturers.
Find maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, GM Genuine Parts, ACDelco parts, and scheduling help.
Ask about availability, request additional photos, or make the drive to Elkader more useful.
Practical help without the pressure
The useful questions usually begin with where you drive, who rides with you, and what the vehicle needs to carry or pull.
A Chevrolet shopper may be comparing cab sizes, bed lengths, towing needs, SUV seating, cargo room, fuel choices, technology, or new versus used. We can work through those questions one at a time and explain the differences in everyday language.
That patient approach matters whether you have researched for months or have only decided that your current vehicle no longer fits. You should understand the choice before anyone asks you to make it.
New Chevrolet vehicles
Chevrolet offers several ways to solve the same real-life need. Our job is to help make the differences useful.
Compare Colorado, Silverado 1500, and Silverado HD choices around payload, towing, cab space, bed use, and everyday driving.
Explore Chevrolet SUVs from compact choices through three-row and full-size models, with passenger room, cargo space, and winter driving in mind.
Ask how available EVs, fuel-efficient models, charging, range, and ownership needs may fit the way you drive.
Talk with the team about Corvette performance, work-ready configurations, vans, chassis cabs, and vehicles that support a business.
Models, trims, powertrains, and inventory change. If the Chevrolet you want is not currently in Elkader, ask about incoming units, another Brown's location, dealer availability, or ordering possibilities. Not every option will be available, but the team has more than one place to look.
A wider Chevrolet search
Inventory changes every day, and the exact truck or SUV you want may not be sitting in Elkader when you begin. Tell the local team what interests you, including the model, trim, equipment, color, budget, or areas where you can be flexible.
We can check current and incoming Chevrolet inventory, other Brown's locations, and dealer availability. When a vehicle is available and transportation can be arranged, the team can discuss bringing it closer for you to see. Availability and timing are not guaranteed.
The point of a larger search is convenience. Your conversation and point of contact can remain here in Elkader.
Leadership you can reach
Forest and Kelsey stay connected to the people, departments, and decisions shaping the Brown's Elkader experience.

Dealer Principal
Forest represents the second generation of the family business Dave Brown began in 1964. He remains involved with the people, direction, and long-term decisions across Brown's Family of Dealerships while giving local teams room to serve their communities in the way that fits them best.

General Manager
Kelsey leads the everyday Elkader operation and helps keep sales, finance, service, and parts working together as one local team. She stays close to the decisions that affect employees and guests, with an emphasis on clear communication, dependable follow-through, and an experience that feels personal rather than transactional.
Online and out-of-area help
Starting online can make a visit more productive without turning a simple question into a commitment.
Ask whether a Chevrolet is available, request additional photographs, check a feature or equipment detail, or explain what you are still trying to decide. The team can gather information and connect you with the right person before you leave home.
Chevrolet service and GM parts
Brown's Elkader Chevrolet supports scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, warranty and recall work, and larger repairs. The service and parts teams can help with Chevrolet-specific needs, GM Genuine Parts, ACDelco parts, tires, accessories, and ownership questions.
Conveniences and program eligibility can vary. Tell us what you drive, what it needs, and what would make the visit easier. You can also explore the Elkader parts department.
Help after the test drive
A feature is only useful when you know where it is and how it fits the way you drive.
Ask about trailering tools, cameras, bed features, drive modes, payload, and equipment before choosing a configuration.
Work through phone pairing, displays, driver-assistance features, connected services, or charging questions without being rushed.
If a question appears after a few days of driving, contact the Elkader team and pick the conversation back up.
Sell or trade your vehicle
Trade your vehicle toward a new Chevrolet or used vehicle, or sell it to Brown's without buying a replacement. The team can explain either path before you decide.
Begin with the Elkader trade-value page or use the dedicated selling page when you only want an offer. Final values depend on an in-person review and current vehicle information.
Bring the vehicle, all available keys, title or payoff information, registration, identification, and any service records you have.
If you are still shopping, the team can explain how a possible trade may fit a new Chevrolet or used vehicle.
